About the symbol

The Yin-Yang symbol originates from ancient Chinese cosmology and Taoist philosophy, representing the duality and interdependence of opposites in the universe. Yin, associated with darkness, femininity, and passivity, contrasts with Yang, linked to light, masculinity, and activity. The symbol illustrates that life consists of these complementary interconnected forces that balance each other in harmony. 

This charm is sold on its own but looks lovely dangling form chains or hoops.
