The scarab, along with the concepts of existence, development, and growth, was revered as a symbol representing the cycle of life, creation, death, and rebirth, and was seen as a form of protection. Hundreds of thousands of scarab amulets were crafted in Egypt over many centuries, and many thousands have survived. They were typically carved from precious or semi-precious stones, metal, or glass, or molded from Egyptian faience, a primitive version of porcelain.

Jelly Opal is characterized by a pastel background featuring small flashes of yellows, oranges, pinks and blues. It is grown in a laboratory from opaline silica in a yearlong process that replicates the creation of natural opal. This controlled growth results in strong and durable opals with the same intensity of color as natural specimens.

Mookaite is a vibrantly colored gemstone found primarily in the Mooka Creek area of Western Australia. Australian cultures have used Mookaite for tools and ceremonial items, valuing its unique beauty and connection to the earth.

In order to avoid the impact of mining on the earth -including the release of CO2 into the atmosphere and the destruction of natural habitats-, we only use recycled gold to make our pieces.
