The scarab, along with the concepts of existence, development, and growth, was revered as a symbol representing the cycle of life, creation, death, and rebirth, and was seen as a form of protection. Hundreds of thousands of scarab amulets were crafted in Egypt over many centuries, and many thousands have survived. They were typically carved from precious or semi-precious stones, metal, or glass, or molded from Egyptian faience, a primitive version of porcelain.

Jelly Opal is characterized by a pastel background featuring small flashes of yellows, oranges, pinks and blues. It is grown in a laboratory from opaline silica in a yearlong process that replicates the creation of natural opal. This controlled growth results in strong and durable opals with the same intensity of color as natural specimens.

Onyx is typically black but can also be found in other colors like white, red, and green. Ancient civilizations, including the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians, prized onyx for jewelry, amulets, and carvings. Its rich, smooth appearance made it a favored material for creating intricate and meaningful artifacts.
