Hundreds of thousands of scarab amulets were crafted in Egypt over many centuries, and many thousands have survived. They were typically carved from precious or semi-precious stones, metal, or glass, or molded from Egyptian faience, a primitive version of porcelain.

Jelly Opal is characterized by a pastel background featuring small flashes of yellows, oranges, pinks and blues. It is grown in a laboratory from opaline silica in a yearlong process that replicates the creation of natural opal. This controlled growth results in strong and durable opals with the same intensity of color as natural specimens.

Red jasper is characterized by its deep red color. Ancient civilizations, such as the Egyptians, Greeks, and Native Americans, highly valued red jasper for its use in amulets, talismans, and carvings. They believed it held protective and healing properties, making it a favored material for creating significant and symbolic artifacts.
