Hundreds of thousands of scarab amulets were crafted in Egypt over many centuries, and many thousands have survived. They were typically carved from precious or semi-precious stones, metal, or glass, or molded from Egyptian faience, a primitive version of porcelain.

Starry Opal is characterized by vibrant flashes of yellows, oranges, pinks and greens. It is grown in a laboratory from opaline silica in a yearlong process that replicates the creation of natural opal. This controlled growth results in strong and durable opals with the same intensity of color as natural specimens.

Turquoise, known for its striking blue to green hues, has been treasured for millennia. Ancient Egyptians, Persians, and Native Americans all valued it for its beauty and symbolic protective qualities. Often considered a sacred stone, turquoise was believed to bring good fortune and healing. Its vibrant color and cultural significance have made it a prized material for jewelry and artifacts throughout history.

Vermeil is a technique invented in 1805 where gold is applied to sterling silver.
The gold coat applied on vermeil pieces must be above 2.5 microns, creating a finish that is five times thicker than average gold plating, and far more durable.
