UV Glow opal stones are specimens of common opal that display a fluorescence under ultraviolet light due to tiny levels of uranium being dissolved with the silica at the time the opal was formed. Most fluorescent opals range in color from bright white to buttery yellow and exhibit a bright green color under fluorescent light.
