Common opal lacks the vibrant play-of-color seen in precious opal but comes in beautiful shades, including pink. Found in small deposits, it is typically mined by small teams or families. Pink and yellow opal are often found together in deposits that formed over centuries at Mooka Station in Western Australia, an area once covered by a vast inland sea.

In order to avoid the impact of mining on the earth -including the release of CO2 into the atmosphere and the destruction of natural habitats-, we only use recycled gold to make our pieces.
